At Our School

At Sacred Heart we:

• offer an education that combines Catholic faith and teachings with academic excellence.  Curricular improvements are made every year.

• set high standards for student achievement and help our students succeed.

• provide a balanced academic curriculum that integrates faith, culture and life.

• use technology effectively to enhance education.  We have used grants and assistance from our SCRIP program and SHAFF to purchase more laptops, mimios, and upgrade our internet connections.

• prepare students to be productive citizens and future leaders.  We offer many opportunities for our students to speak in front of others, do service, plan activities, and work together to accomplish tasks.

Be sure to also take a look at the annual report to see how our students are performing on standardized tests and the goals that have been set for this school year.

The goal of a Catholic education is to help children mature into Christ-like people. Students are encouraged to recognize the presence of Christ in themselves and others. The religious formation of children begun at home is continued in school and in their parish.
